Nails of the Day: Floral

Today I wanted to paint something fun on my nails so I did this purple and white floral design.  This took me about an hour, but I always wait a lot between coats so I don't know if it is really that relevant.  But this design was really easy.

All you have to do is start by making the green lines randomly on all of the nails.  Then you go in with a dotting tool and make the dots.  I decided to have some of the dots overlap each other for more dimension.  Then I did a couple more shorter green lines coming from the middle some dots to fill in the more blank areas.  Then lastly I used a top coat to seal in the design and to keep it from chipping in the near future, it also provides a beautiful shine.

The colors I used were : just any white you have, Art deco striper in forest green, depend nail polishes in Nr. 115 and Nr. 202 and lastly OPI in steady as she rose.

My favorite Makeup Product !

MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish Natural is by far my favorite and most used makeup item.  I have alreade gone through three of these and I just bought my fourth one.  This powder foundation is the best one I have found, and I believe that it is the best one out there.  

If I had to recommend buying something from MAC I would recommend this powder.  It covers just enough and it doesn't look cake-ie.

NEW IN : Bikini

I have finally gotten a new bikini :) I love this one and I was so happy when my mom got it for me as a surprise the other day.  She had no idea that I wanted these bikinis but somehow she managed to get the exact bikini I was dreaming about getting.  She knows me so well, haha.
I can't wait to get to wear them this summer, but I can't help to wonder if they'll be see-through because well, they are white.

But I will just have to find out won't I ;)

Summer 2012 Fashion Trends

This summer is all about color and prints.  So you can go ditch the black and grey's because mint green and neons are on their way.
This summer like any other is featuring a lot of different trends and I am going to summarize my favorite ones.

MINT GREENI love the color mint green, it is so fresh.  This summer every store will be filled with mint green and you will love it.  Out of every type of clothes there is, I love mint green as a jean color.  Wearing colored pants is also very inn and the bright fun color will bring attention to your legs.

COLORED/PRINTED PANTS Wearing Colored pants has never been as much in as they are now as with Printed pants.  Celebrities are seen wearing floral printed jeans everyday and they are rocking it and so should you.  This is one of my favorite trends because like I said it brings attention to you legs.

ARM CANDY Right now I see a lot of girls piling their arms up in bracelets and with chunky watches.  This trend is really convenient because you most likely have a bunch of bracelets piled somewhere in the corner.  So now all you have to do, is to get all of them and wear a couple that look good together, or you can just were all of them.  Who's to say you can't, right?  I would also like to recommend buying a chunky watch if you don't have one already.  I personally am eyeing a Michel Kors one.

ASYMMETRICAL Everywhere I see girls wearing asymmetrical and flow-y skirts, or as many call them High-Low skirts.  The trend can also be seen in shirts and sweaters.  I love this trend and think it is so cute.  This one I also haven't really seen witch makes it so exciting and a lot more Appealing.

COLOR DIP DYE For a pretty long time now people have been sporting the Ombré trend, now this trend has rejoined by using colors  This trend is almost identical to the previous Ombré trend except instead of going brunette to blond or vise versa this time you use any color you would like.  This trend is so fun but of course it is just a trend so I advise to try it with something that is not permanent.  Pink seems to be the most popular choice of color when dip dying.

These are my favorite trends right now and I can't wait to try all of them out (maybe not all at the same time but you know what I mean).  So tell me what trends will you be rocking this summer? :)

Nails of the Day: Blue and more Blue

Today I painted my nails with two different types of Blue.  I really liked both of the colors so instead of using just one, I decided to just use both :)
The lighter color is Gorgeous from Sinful Colors and the dark blue is from Depend and is in Nr.252

Yesterday I went to a party and I wore my most resent purchases, a black peplum dress and a striped jacket.
I just love my dress but because all black is boring the jacket pulls my look together.
I decided to keep the jewelry simple and wore light pink/purple feather earrings from Primark and my watch from Urban Outfitters and bracelet from H&M

Nails of the Day : Pastel Blue

Hello :)
Today I painted my nails in this gorgeous pastel blue color.  Pastels are very inn right now and because of that I decided to purchase this really pretty pastel blue color from Depend.
The color is nr. 245.

New In: Clothes

Hi everyone :)
Recently I went shopping with my friends and I picked up a couple of things.  I have been dying to get a peplum dress and when I found a basic black one I knew I had to have it.  I also picked up a black and white striped jacked, because none of my other jackets looked good with the peplum so I decides to get a print one to jazz things a little bit up.
Because I am very tall I got a pair of flats that have a thick bottom so I am still not just wearing a boring pair of flats.
Lastly because pastels are very inn I purchased a mint blue nail polish for a pop of color.
